Focus Creation revolutionizes the world of fireplaces by converting its icons to a brand-new energy. While it still stands out by levitating above the ground, its flame is now fueled by bioethanol. Following the iconic Gyrofocus, it’s now time for the Domofocus to join the new range.
Freedom of installation
With their distinctive original designs, both fireplaces now offer a total freedom of installation and become “ready-to-install” models. Smokeless, with no need for an external flue outlet on the roof (according to the situation), this is the true advantage of Focus’ new bioethanol range: a fireplace that you can install anywhere you want! The Gyrofocus and Domofocus can now take in place in spaces where they were previously impossible to integrate: any floor of an apartment, any room of a house, under a mezzanine or in public places. The smokeless combustion also makes it possible to install them in spaces that do not meet all the technical requirements necessary for a conventional wood or gas fireplace, and in locations where burning wood is banned.
Safe, adaptable technology
Focus Bioethanol fireplaces are designed to be autonomous, operating with an electric battery. Filling via an electronic overflow protection pump, the impossibility of filling and relighting after operation while the hearth is hot, and the integrated CO2 sensor ensure that the appliance is perfectly safe. The burner was conceived in partnership with Ignisial Paris, French specialist in high-end bioethanol burners.
The aesthetics of the flames, the ceramic logs and the imitation embers create a convincing similarity with an authentic wood fire. At the touch of a button, the bioethanol Gyrofocus and Domofocus light up instantly and their orange flame burns brightly. A flame specially designed for Focus, carefully thought out to embrace the entire width of the hearth. Created in 1968, the Gyrofocus has become an international design icon, taught in architecture schools, and exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
The Domofocus was born in 2015 and is the culmination of a double design quest: for a generous and welcoming organic shape, yet a more compact volume.
