Titled Elizabeth, the dog bowl features a raised design that combines playful aesthetics with everyday functionality for medium and large dogs

United Pets, the Milanese pet accessory brand, has unveiled Elizabeth, a playful dog bowl designed by Padua-dwelling architecture and design studio Favaretto & Partners. This delightful product combines clever design details with practicality, offering a fresh take on an everyday pet accessory.
Inspired by the Elizabethan collar, a protective medical device shaped like a truncated cone that dogs often dislike, Elizabeth turns this on its head by transforming the pet cone into something cheerful and useful. Meanwhile, the design of the raised bowl, shaped like a seated dog, features a removable stainless steel bowl as its “head”.
The added height is designed to make eating more comfortable for medium to large dogs by raising the bowl to a better height, helping prevent strain and promoting healthy eating habits. ‘We’ve been searching for a raised bowl design that stands out,’ explains Cristina Rivolta, cofounder of United Pets.

‘When Favaretto & Partners showed us Elizabeth, we loved its clever nod to the Elizabethan collar,’ continues Rivolta. ‘It’s a design that’s not just functional but also brings humour and personality. It’s a product that appeals to everyone.’
Made from high-density polyethylene, the base is sturdy, non-toxic and safe for pets, while the stainless steel bowl is easy to remove and dishwasher-safe, making it perfect for everyday use. Available in three colours – dove grey, yellow and black – the design fits seamlessly into modern interiors.
‘We took something seen as annoying for dogs and turned it into something positive,’ comments Francesco Favaretto, Creative Director of Favaretto & Partners. ‘The collar shape isn’t just for fun – it’s functional too, providing a stable structure that securely holds the bowl.’

United Pets has been creating thoughtfully designed pet products since its founding in 1999, combining practicality with contemporary aesthetics. From bowls to toys, the company’s mission is to produce high-quality products that enhance the lives of pets.
The playful, dog-shaped design adds humour to mealtimes. Combining functionality and good looks, Favaretto & Partners delivered a product that is as delightful as it is practical. And while the clever design has already won us over at ICON, it’s safe to say our four-legged friends approve too – tails wagging and all.
