While the worlds of skincare and art don’t often converge, self-care brand Reia is no stranger to creative cross-pollination.
Established by Sophie Salisbury and Celia Foot in 2021, the female-founded brand is on a mission to remove single use plastic from the bathroom without compromising on style or quality.
Embracing the power of art, Reia’s new limited edition gift set, realised in collaboration with Edinburgh-based illustrator Charlotte Trounce, embodies all the sense of design, wellbeing and art.

The first in a series of artist collaborations, it focuses on the theme of reflection and intention. Comprising of a glass ‘forever’ bottle to be refilled at home, the gift set also comes with two of the brand’s innovative refill pouches containing vegan and cruelty-free hand and body wash.
Available in either Lime Leaf, Vetiver and Amber Hand Wash; Green Leaf and Long Grasses Body Wash; or the Hand and Body Duo, the latter of which is a wonderful grounding fragrance with hints of lime leaf, vetiver and amber.
What’s more, a drawstring bag and beautifully designed postcard featuring limited edition illustrations from artist and illustrator Charlotte Trounce complete the gift set, promising to add an artistic touch to bathrooms. The glass bottle can be stored on shelves, while empty pouches may be returned for recycling (free of charge) to help eliminate plastic waste.

Reia’s commitment to the environment is channelled down to the smallest details; the packaging is produced from thoughtful materials, while its wholesome formulations are made from 98.5% naturally derived ingredients and created by a team of natural formulations experts in Dorset, on the southwest coast of England.
‘It is through reflection that we can discover and set intentions to introduce better ways to care for people and planet,’ say the founders, Sophie Salisbury and Celia Foot.
‘We believe in the power of creativity to convey important ideas. So, we’re kick-starting a series of artist collaborations to help bring to life the things that matter to us. Working mostly with paint, Charlotte’s work breathes life and vibrancy into natural landscapes and forms.’

Building a legacy that embraces sustainability, Reia aligns its purpose with doing good. Reimagining how we interact with art through limited-edition collaborations, the brand’s first artist partnership with Charlotte Trounce shows how beauty, art and nature have always been intertwined.
‘Taking walks in nature is always a great time to reflect – the quietness allows you the opportunity to think,’ shares Trounce on what inspires her work. ‘I wanted to explore this idea in my artwork for Reia. A woodland path takes you through winter and into spring – a glimpse of brighter and lighter things to come and a time to set your intentions for the year ahead.’
With its strong design aesthetics and respect for the environment, Reia cares for our planet and communities. Working in harmony with nature rather than disrupting it, Reia and Charlotte Trounce have come together to share a message of sustainability and hope for a brighter future.
