Old Sessions House, our venue on Clerkenwell Green from 19-21 May, will feature talks by Michael Young, Gam Fratesi, Dominic Wilcox, Ooze Architects and We Made That, and a bespoke installation by Pattern Foundry Michael Young, Gam Fratesi, Dominic Wilcox, Ooze Architects and We Made That will be speaking at Icon’s House of Culture during Clerkenwell Design Week (19–21 May). The programme of talks is part of Icon’s three-day takeover of the rarely opened Old Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green, which will feature a specially commissioned installation by artist and designer Richard Rhys of Bloomsbury-based studio Pattern Foundry. The talks will take place in Icon’s cosy cafe, where Cru Kafe will provide food and drinks. Icon will be screening a series of films between the events and providing books and magazine for visitors to relax with. A range of top brands, including Gubi, Fritz Hansen, Vitra, Another Brand, Discover & Deliver and Timorous Beasties, will display their latest collections at the venue. There will also be a chance win one of four Series 7 chairs – Fritz Hansen’s design classics – by having your photo taken at Icon’s photo booth. The first 50 people to subscribe to Icon magazine at the venue will get a free coffee. We are also giving award Black + Blum Eau Good water bottles to direct debit subscribers.
