Dexter Wisby is a lighting designer coming into the industry from the Manchester School of art. Dexter is now working as a designer for the esteemed Nulty Bespoke assisting in the creation of Bespoke decorative lighting installations.
At CDW 2025, Dexter is exhibiting his graduate collection ‘Studio Salvage’, a project proposal aiming to assist in re-defining and re-aligning understanding of material value through the re-engineering and reuse of salvaged high-end components and materials from luxury lighting manufacturers across the UK.
Dexter was spotted by the CDW team at 2024’s edition of graduate show New Designers. The team loved his take on upcycling high-end materials for reuse in new luxury products and were keen to get him on board to show off the ideas behind the project and the outcomes of it at this year’s new exciting space in St Bartholomew’s Church.
