As elegant as ever with their suspended design, the Gyrofocus, Domofocus and Ergofocus are now available in bioethanol versions.
Focus icons where you never thought of it before
Bioethanol represents a true revolution in installation freedom. With no need for connection to an external flue, Focus fireplaces can now be showcased anywhere: in flats with no chimney ducts, on any floor of a house, in hotels, restaurants, shops, or in areas where woodburning is banned. The choice of bioethanol offers unprecedented liberty of installation, expanding the possibilities for those who love design or the comfort of a fire.
Safe fireplaces
This range, developed in partnership with the French specialist in high-end bioethanol burners Ignisial Paris, is designed to be autonomous, operating with an electric battery. The fully electronic,
safe burner is operated by remote control. The fireplace has an electric filling pump, an overflow protection system, and a built-in CO2 sensor, making the appliance extremely safe.
At the touch of a button, the bioethanol models light up instantly and their orange flame burns brightly. Flame play, ultra-realistic ceramic logs and simulated glowing bed of embers are stunningly similar to a real wood fire. The flame has been specifically designed for Focus, carefully thought out to embrace the entire width of the hearth. Offering great power, bioethanol fireplaces maintain a comforting, generous fire, true to their history.
A fireplace as the ultimate luxury experience
Created in 1968, the Gyrofocus has become an international design icon that was taught in architecture schools, and once exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The original Ergofocus was launched in 1983, its pure lines and compact size made it the most popular fireplace in Focus’ range, very easy to integrate in any space and. The Domofocus was conceived in 2015 as the culmination of a double design quest: for a generous and welcoming organic shape, yet a more compact volume.
Today, these iconic fireplaces still stand out by levitating above the ground, but their fire is now fuelled by bioethanol.
The iconic design of a Focus fireplace is a decisive choice for a high-end architectural or interior design project. Focus has always been selected by the greatest contemporary architects. More than fireplaces, they are iconic design pieces, that make architectural and interior design project
As living spaces become smaller, the pace of life gets faster, today fireplaces are becoming an ultimate luxury experience – a space outside time. With their peerless contemporary design and incomparable aura, Focus fireplaces offer a magnetic attraction and are the perfect addition to the most high-end architectural projects.
The three most iconic Focus models have now been converted to bioethanol. After decades of developing wood-burning fireplaces, followed by the more recent introduction of gas and electric/ holographic fireplaces, Focus is continuing to diversify energy types for its fireplaces, while retaining the original design that has made them such a success. The Ergofocus is a perfect illustration, now available in four different energy types: Ecodesigned and DEFRA approuved wood, gaz, Holographik® and bioethanol.
